Why I’m a planner?

A few years ago, my grandmother passed her dream log home on the Rustic Wilderness Airstrip, just south of Talkeetna, on to our family. What began as a cherished retreat soon became a vacation rental, and before long, guests started asking if they could fly to Denali and elope.

I found myself naturally stepping into the role of guide and planner, helping couples bring their once-in-a-lifetime versions to life in some of Alaska’s most breathtaking and remote places. From those moments, Rustic Wilderness Weddings was born.

I can’t wait to help you plan an unforgettable adventure elopement and share a side of Alaska that very few ever get to experience.

Summer 2026 elopement dates are available.

I take two full service weddings each summer. Summer 2026 is booked, but I’m on the search for my two summer 2027 couples.
